What's coming up

Frank Wilcox Film Festival

Frank Reppy Wilcox was born in De Soto on March 13, 1907, the son of a railroad worker and law clerk. He went on to become one of the most prolific character actors in Hollywood, appearing in more than 400 films and TV shows.
This year the film festival named in his honor will celebrate the work and career of Loretta Swit, who won two Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan on the hit TV show M*A*S*H.

Railroad Days

Celebrating more than 170 years of the railroad business in De Soto, Railroad Days is a great time for everyone to come outside and do some family-friendly  partying on Main Street. This year June 2 is the day for games,

t-shirts, food, music and fun.
